Thai Sailors Take Part In Para World Sailing Championship In The US

Thailand sends sailors to take part in the Para World Sailing Championships with Paisal Pa-Teh and Suraphong Chitkhong for the first time. They both are from Pattaya and would head to Sheboygan in the USA to compete in pre-event sailing in addition to World Championships starting from 18th to 22nd September.

The founder of Disabled sailing Thailand, Peter Jacobs said it is indeed a great moment for sailing in his country. This is the first time that Thailand has decided to send sailors to Para World Sailing Championships.

The Disabled Sailing Thailand is proud that they are doing it this year too. The founder said the Thai sailors have undergone training with the best of coaches at Royal Varuna Yacht Club. It is an excellent chance for Thai sailors as they would learn more and the experience of the World Championships is something that cannot be forgotten.

In the year 2015, the committee of the International Paralympics chose to drop sailing from Paralympics 2020. As a result the decision made the foundation of Disabled sailing Thailand and the objective here is to ensure that the sports are readily accessible for those with disabilities. Eventually this objective will help in supporting the reintroduction of sailing to the Paralympics.

The team has been closely working with World Sailing and they have offered constant support to help the management send sailors to the World Championships from Thailand. There are around 125 sailors taking part from 36 different countries and the founder hopes that Thai team will motivate the ones who are determined to try sailing as their career in the future. It is good to see so many disabled sailors ready to take part in the competition and perform their best despite of their physical disabilities. It would be interesting to watch the Para World Sailing Championship to know the winner.

Poland vs Italy Betting Tips

Roberto Mancini is under the great amount of pressure in order to get his Italian national team to conclude their five-game winless streak. They have quite poor in all of the UEFA Nations League games so far. Italy make the trip to Poland desperate for three points. After having struggled in recent major tournaments, it is not a surprise to see it as a at the bottom of the Group A after just two matches into the campaign. They have only taken a point from the first two games while they are also struggling for goals from open play.

Mancini’s team required a penalty in order to get their only goal in the first two matches. This is the worst run of form for the four-time world champions so far in the calendar year. Mancini was expected to improve Italy when he came in as the new boss, but the former Manchester City and Australia manager has had a tough time in the scoring youngsters capable of replacing the old guard.

The win over Saudi Arabia is the only successful Italy in the last 15 matches. As a result, Mancini’s team are priced at a substantial 8/5 in order to win the game. Likewise, Poland are also unable to string together a strong run of results and are priced at 9/5. The attractive choice for this match is to go for a draw at 11/5.

Robert Lewandowski will be desperate to come up with a goal after having not performed exceptionally well for Bayern Munich this season. The forward will be able to capitalise on Italy’s inability to come up with a shutout in the last eight games. Even though Italy possess some of the world’s best defenders like Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini, they have been unable to make a major impact.
